Did some weeping while watching this trailer. So beautiful and moving.
Anne Hathaway plays the grisette Fantine in this big screen adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic French novel Les Misérables. Hathaway leads a powerhouse cast which includes Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette,Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, SachaBaron Cohen as Thénardier and Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thénardier.
With her background in singing - member of an honor's chorus back in high school and did two concerts at Carnegie Hall - and being the remarkable actress that she is, I'm certain that she will bring Les Misérables to a whole new level.
Directed by Tom Hooper, written by WilliamNicholson, Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schönberg and Herbert Kretzmer, the movie is set for release on December 14, 2012.
