The narrow street leading to Azalea Residences Baguio is very unassuming. We were in awe when at the end of the street we were greeted by this...
A magnificently massive deluxe serviced apartment. Azalea Residences is composed of 46 De Luxe rooms, 17 One bedroom suites, 33 Two-bedroom suites, 3 Three bedroom suites, 1 Coffee Shop, 1 Bar Lounge, 1 Playground, 1 Business Center, and a partridge in a pear tree.
One of the many reasons why we decided to book a two-bedroom suite at Azalea Residences is because of the lodge-style exterior. It makes us appreciate the tranquility of the Baguio lifestyle.
The consensus originally was The Manor but when we found out Azalea, we immediately decided to give it a go, and we are grateful that we did!

The focal point of the exterior is this bronze water ball fountain with azalea flowers
The pictures simply can not do this beautiful place any justice especially at night!
The garden surrounding the playground is well manicured and lit. My boys loved playing there. There wasn't enough sand on the playground to cover the exposed crisscrossed pipes though. My son tripped over one.
A multipurpose tent is erected on the left side facing the playground. I forgot to ask the actual maximum capacity of the place but my rough estimate would be around 150 pax. Great for parties and weddings.
The interior of the hotel is designed differently. Contemporary with clean lines and sleek design dominates the interiors. The lobby exudes Leonardo da Vinci's famous quote, "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." Placing a huge table in the middle of the lobby with a gigantic fresh azalea flower arrangement would be great, yeah? Just a suggestion.
The huge accent wall is adorned with large wood-carved azalea flowers.
We were actually clueless as to what a real azalea flower looks like so we asked the front office agent to show us a sample of the flower.
Upon some research, I found out that the flower symbolizes temperance, passion, and womanhood. Womanhood? Fate! Perfect for our post (just a day after) Mom's Day vacation!

While I was busy checking in, my boys were enjoying their welcome drinks (strawberry juice of course). I didn't get to taste mine because my youngest drank it all up and kept asking for more! He said that they were "very yummy"!

Cross ventilation makes the hallways consistently cool any time of the day.
