The most buzzed premier luxury nightclub in the metro is actually a two-fold establishment. The first being the nightclub and the second one is the cafe or famously known as Cafe Republiq.
The comfortable lounge style aura with its tasteful decor is the perfect setting for this cafe that offers world cuisine. The dimly lit establishment with its fine furnishings gives a feeling of luxury. The surrounding exposed brick wall (love!) however gives the place a casual touch. The capiz shell paneled bar area with backlight adds an elegant Pinoy flair! I love it!
It is not just my admiration with Cafe Republiq's interiors that makes me (and my boys) frequent this place. We are actually fond of their delicious dishes and have tried quite a number from their menu. Although our kids both have their own favorites and never care to try new dishes, J2 (hubs) and I enjoy getting surprised by new flavors (American to Asian) each time we're there.

This layered drink (Mango Iced Tea) has become our eldest's favorite at Cafe Republiq. A nice blend of sweet and sour.

| Watermelon Shake |
Our youngest's choice on the other hand is a refreshingly sweet and nutritious drink (Watermelon Shake) that is just perfect for a summer night.

| U.S. Pot Roast in Mushroom Sauce and Soft Mashed Potatoes |
Never mind that the meet is juicy and tender, what makes me moan with gladness is the rich and flavorful mushroom sauce of their pot roast! The consistency of the sauce is just about right for me eventhough J2 (hubs) likes it a bit thicker. What does he know, really?

| Truffle Oil Mashed Potatoes |
I always request that the mashed potatoes the pot roast comes with be changed to the Truffle Oil Mashed Potatoes. I don't mind paying a little extra for this heavenly upgrade! The woodsy flavor of the truffle oil combined with a hint of garlic makes it irresistible!

| BBQ U.S. Beef Riblets |
The sweet, smoky flavor BBQ sauce is delicious. The meat was good for the most part although a few of the pieces came out overcooked and dry.

| Chicken Quesadilla |
The combined flavors in this Chicken Quesadilla is really good! The crisp, flaky tortilla makes this Mexican dish even better!

| Angus Beef Cheeseburger |
Delicious, fat, and juicy are the right burger criteria for me and this one hits all three! The patty is topped with the tasty melted cheese that has formed a stringy texture that is all too appetizing to look at! Be still my heart.
Best to come here during lunch time or have an early dinner if you're with kids. Choose a table inside the restaurant because the area outside is a smoker's sanctuary.
