I don't mean to alarm you but have you realized that we have roughly about 111 days to go before Christmas? *gulp* I have not even burned all the calories I acquired from Christmas eve dinner last year!
Christmas is not called the merry month for nothing. First of all, our good Savior is born. Secondly, it's a month of love, peace, and harmony among family and friends. When I say love, I meant unwavering love and not the Valentine's day-let's-go-get-a-room-kind-of love.
Every year, I make an extra effort to make my loved ones and friends feel extra special by sending out greeting cards. Not e-cards but old school, traditional, kill-me-with-affection greeting cards via snail mail.
I send about eighty of them to wherever in the world my relatives and friends are. Guess how many I got in return. Six. What a bunch of ungrateful........1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. *woosaaaah* But, you don't just do something to get something, right? Pffft. Whatever.

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas cards. E-cards work for a lot of people except me. Old school Christmas greeting cards are still the best! I still like to hand-write my Christmas cards.
Not everyone has an access to internet let alone have a computer. I have relatives who live in places where I seriously believe dinosaurs still exist. Sure I can send them a "Merry Christmas" text message, but that's lousier than an e-card.

I'll keep sending traditional Christmas greeting cards until I'm old and pruney. Maybe I'll get lucky in a few years and receive more than six. *wishful thinking* Doesn't matter. Christmas is about showing others how much they mean to you. Nothing says that better than traditional Christmas cards.
