Single serve coffee makers is all the rage right now and mega-chain, Starbucks, is joining the bandwagon with Verismo.
Since Starbucks' release of K-Cup for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc.'s Keurig brewers last year, it doesn't take a genius to get an idea that it will only be a matter of time before they create their own version of single-serve coffee machines.

The difference with Verismo from all the other brands in the market is that the machine can make lattes, brewed coffee, and other espresso-based drinks. The Starbucks Verismo works with espresso pods and milk pods to create your favorite Starbucks lattes at the comfort of your own home! Pretty economical! Nice to know information for Starbucks latte lovers (myself included).
Verismo is defined as realism in art in the english language. When you're the kind of person who drinks coffee to live like I do, you'd know that there is indeed an art in making a single cup of coffee. With its high-pressure system, the Verismo can hopefully give us caffeine addicts a better experience.
The Starbucks Verismo is made by Germany's Krueger GmbH & Co. KG and is priced at $199 {Verismo 580}, with
a larger version at $399 {Verismo 585}.
