2012's Best Celebrity Shoe Styles

TheMommist
When it comes to shoes, women often take fashion shoes-piration from celebrities. Celebs wear the best, the hottest - not to mention, fanciest - footwear! Check out the shoes that celebrities went gaga over in 2012 as well as these hot women in the fashionable world of shoebiz!

Sarah Jessica Parker wearing Manolo Blahnik BB Ivorybone
I think that it's just fitting to start our 2012 Best Celebrity Shoe Style with the shoe-bedeviled Carrie Bradshaw {a.k.a Sarah Jessica Parker}. I bought a pair back in the late 90's out of love for Carrie. I lived on oatmeal for a couple of months, but it was worth it. I was actually surprised to find out how comfortable they really are! Remember when Louboutin said that "high heels are pleasure with pain! If you can’t walk in them, don’t wear them"? There's some truth to that statement. However, there are shoes that will not make one wince in pain.

The woman who made Manolo Blahnik extremely famous {CEO George Malkemus thanked her for that} slipped on a pair of Ivorybone Manolo Blahnik BB's during a guest appearance at The Late Show with David Letterman.

Christian Louboutin Clear Cap-Toe pumps
The Christian Louboutin Clear Cap-Toe pumps are one of the much-coveted shoes of many Hollywood celebs in 2012.  These pumps revolutionized {once again} the cap-toe trend. I adore the neon yellow Kristen Stewart wore with a pair of gray Vivienne Westwood pants and a white cropped sleeveless Marios Schwab top in Mexico during the Snow White and the Huntsman promo. She completed the look with a BaubleBar neon yellow bracelet.

Olivia Palermo wearing Valentino Rockstud Leopard

Olivia Palermo did some animalier love by pairing her Valentino Rockstud with a Tibi cheetah print shorts at the Noon by Noor show during the New York Fashion Week. I've seriously lost count of the many Valentino Rockstud-wearing fashion hounds. Can we blame them? Just stare at that leopard print calf hair shoe with gold-toned pyramid studs for a minute and tell me if we should crucify these people. Right? Gorgeous!

Gwyneth Paltrow wearing Guiseppe Zanotti's Calf Hair d'Orsay platforms

A great pair can make a lot of difference even in the simplest of ensembles. Check out Gwyneth Paltrow in a simple statement shirt and an orange flared skirt. The otherwise plain look was transformed into an ultimate stunner with the addition of Guiseppe Zanotti's Calf Hair d'Orsay platforms. Sexsayyy! Of course, it helps a lot if you're that gorgeous.

Anne Hathaway wearing Stella McCartney Biodegradable wedges
Would you want a beautiful Stella McCartney wedges to decompose? Thought so. Apparently, the faux-croc footwear are made to do just that...eventually. The soles are made from biodegradable thermoplastic called Apinat. I support the designer with her fight to save the environment. I think that it's really great; but why on earth would you want a beautiful £440 pair wedges to die? Now, THAT's cruel.

Victoria Beckham wearing Proenza Schouler cap-toe pumps

Apparently, color blocking is not yet dead. If done in a good way, the trend might just live forever. Such as the case of Proenza Schouler's cap-toe pumps from their Pre-Fall 2012 collection. It's not just the choice of colors that makes these pumps covet-worthy; the mixture of textures are equally commendable. Victoria Beckham added an extra dose of glamorizing factor to the PS pumps during the Fashion's Night Out event at NYC. The mother of four still looks absolutely stunning in a bright orange dress from her own clothing line.

Kourtney Kardashian wearing Jean-Michel Cazabat's Emma pumps

I'm not really a fan of the Kardashians' choice of clothing, but, if I had to choose {in terms of style} one among the three sisters, I'd go with Kourtney. She's the "safest" bet. She did really well by adding burst of colors {Jean-Michel Cazabat's Emma pumps} to her black Raoul Pippa dress. That's all.

Jennifer Connelly Givenchy Shark Lock Sandals

What I like best with the 4-inch Givenchy Shark Lock Sandals was the fact that they were designed with ease-of-use in mind. Unlike the conventional buckle closure, the shark lock can be closed by one hand. I also like the pale gold trim heels - a beautiful contrast with the black leather. I love how Jennifer Connelly {big fan since her Rocketeer days} wore hers with a simple black and white combo from Stella McCartney. The minimalist wardrobe gave prominence to her pretty face.

Gwen Stefani wearing Nicholas Kirkwood Mixed media platform mary janes

Add a touch of coral to classic hues and you have an irresistible creation! The platform mary janes by Nicholas Kirkwood is so painfully exquisite that I am willing to overlook the fact that it may give me a twisted ankle and swollen calf muscles. Look how happy they made Gwen Stefani!

Miranda Kerr wearing Pierre Hardy two-tone suede sandals

The i'll-kill-you-with-my-hotness Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr shows us how to look sexy while carrying a cute toddler, a large Givenchy Antigona, and wearing high-heeled footwear all at the same time! Not normal! The lapis and black suede peep toe pumps by Pierre Hardy made her already killer gams extra hot!

Kate Bosworth wearing Casadei Blade Heel
Edgy meets classy! From the front view, the Casadei Blade Heel is just a pair of simple, classic pumps; but the side and back view reveals a sharp detail. The steel heel is welded to the sole! Kate Bosworth was photographed wearing a white pair during the SK-II promotional event in Sydney. The beautiful actress donned a two-piece Preen ensemble from their Spring 2013 collection.

Jessica Biel wearing Louis Vuitton Merry-Go-Round pumps
I guess, it's safe to say that the Louis Vuitton Merry-Go-Round pumps is Jessica Biel's favorite 2012 pumps. She has four of these silver-dipped beauties! She wore her blanc pair with a pale pink Christian Dior Couture dress during the Total Recall premiere in LA {pictured above}. She also has a pair of the calf leather pumps in rose, marine, and studded.
