I'm constantly on the lookout for a good pair of sunnies because, well, I just love, love, love them! Aside from its usual function, I'm hooked to sunnies because they make me look cool! *big wide grin*
The one that I'm crushing on right now are these eco-friendly sunnies by Panda.
What I like most about these protective eyewear - more than the cute name and the classic wayfarerish design - is the cause it comes with.
Panda has partnered with The Tribal Outreach Medical Assistance Foundation {TOMA}. Through their "Buy a Pair, Give a Pair" program, Panda-TOMA will give a medical or visual exam to a person in need for every eyewear purchased. That's not all! They will also donate a pair of prescription glasses or sunglasses to those with eye deficiencies.
The whole concept is similar to Toms; the difference lies in the materials used for the Panda eyewear. They are made from sustainable bamboo. Even the cute case is made from the same material too! It's also water resistant and floats in water!
