Kate Hudson puts a whole new meaning to the word beautiful. She was absolutely breathtaking in a Pre AW13 Alexander McQueen black gown with gold embroidered neck and belt. The fitting was perfect! It hugged her curves well especially her famous derriere. Her simple make-up, bronze Ferragamo minaudière and Jennifer Meyer earrings perfected her whole look for the night. I just wished that she wore her hair up to emphasize the gown's gold beading and crystal embellished neck and her gorgeous face. Still, she was the best dressed star of the night for me.
If I'm gonna be like Helen Mirren when I reach her age, then please fast forward the date! Wow! Ms. Mirren looked every bit a moviestar slash fashion model in a Badgley Mischka Pre-Fall 2013 black gown {almost identical to Kate Hudson's} with gold embroidery.
Best Supporting Actress, Anne Hathaway proved that simplicity is beauty. She opted for a "nice" look at the 2013 Golden Globes after her "naughty" style at the Les Miserables premiere in LA. The actress looked so lovely and fresh in a white Chanel gown. Her cropped 'do suits her so well!

Les Miserables star, Amanda Seyfried went for the romantic and delicate look in a floor-sweeping Givenchy gown. Her loose wavy locks and subtle make-up complemented her chosen style for the night well.
If the photo above is in B&W, it would definitely pass for something from the 1940's, don't you think? Nicole Richie channeled old Hollywood glam in an azure embroidered lace gown by Naeema Khan. Love her blue eye make-up, old Hollywood waves, and House of Harlow fringed clutch!
