6 Most Gorgeous Best Actress Oscars Gowns of All Time

Audrey Hepburn

One of my favorite style icons, Audrey Hepburn bagged the 1954 Oscars for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Princess Ann in the Roman Holiday. The beautiful actress with an equally beautiful personality was clad in a dress by Givenchy.

Her style, her beauty, and her body can make every {and I mean every} gown look fabulous. Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco, Princess Grace, or Grace Kelly looked ethereal and elegant in this lovely gown with a crisscross neckline.

Julia Roberts looks like a 100% pretty woman in a vintage Valentino gown. She wore the gown in the 2001 Oscars where she won her as Best Actress for her portrayal of Erin Brockovich.

Gwyneth Paltrow played girly girl in a pink princess gown by Ralph Lauren when she accepted her award for Best Actress in the 1999 Academy Awards. I really like the cut and style of the gown, but I have to agree with her mother, Blythe Danner, the fit was not good.

Charlize Theron rocked the vintage Hollywood goddess look in a form-fitting Gucci gown in the 2004 Oscars. A far cry from her unglamorous look in the movie that won her the Best Actress award: Monster.

Hilary Swank earned her right to flaunt her knockout figure {due to intense training for Million Dollar Baby} in a Guy Laroche gown with dipped back during the 2005 Academy Awards. It was her second Oscars win for Best Actress. The first was from the movie Boys Don't Cry.
