This year's Met Gala is all about getting punk'd!
The theme of the annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Arts is "PUNK: Chaos to Couture". A bevy of stylish and not-so-stylish stars {Hello Kim Kardashian} wore their punk best to one of the much anticipated fashion event of the year. Last year, the hollywood celebrities donned glittering gowns to the Met Gala to celebrate the works and fashion contribution of Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada.
Not all of those who attended complied with the theme. One of which is the event's chairman and Vogue EIC Anna Wintour. She wore a floor length Chanel floral gown to the event. She claimed that her gown is still considered as punk because of the pink hue. Pink is apparently the color of punk according to Andre Bolton, Met curator. The lady knows her fashion and knows how to be striking so...
Well, here are some of the stars who look {really} punk-ing hot at the 2013 Met Gala:
Cameron Diaz wearing a blue Stella McCartney cape gown with spiked black belt.
How'j like Anne Hathaway's take on the punk look? Pretty fair, I say. I like the blonde locks and the Valentino gown too.
One of my favorite looks of the night is from the co-chairman of the 2013 Met Gala - Rooney Mara. She wore a Riccardo Tisci creation for Givenchy.
The Great Gatsby Actress, Carey Mulligan, went subtle punk in a Balenciaga dress.
Miranda Kerr shows off her VS Angel figure in a Michael Kors gown. The Christian Louboutin spiked marquise clutch!
Nicole Richie looking fierce and fab in a Topshop dress and grey 'do! The color of her hair looks great against her complexion. Throwing extra love for her Dana Rebecca Designs earrings!
It's hard to picture Emma Watson as Hermione Granger in this Prabal Gurung stunner. Amazing!
Cara Delivingne went all out in a custom couture Thakoon gown.
Kate Bosworth wows the crowd in a hot pink Balenciaga dress! She paired it with a satin Salvatore Ferragamo shoes.
