Style Insight: Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy

Effortless, timeless chic best describes Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's style. Her fashion sense was much like the mom-in-law she never met, my other style crush, Jackie Kennedy Onassis.
She's always seen in the most basic attire in the most neutral hues. She was never outlandish. Even in the simplest attire, CBK commanded an enormous amount of attention and admiration. Even her wedding gown and wedding itself was very simple, but oh so lovely! That's style power for you!

Her golden locks was almost always pulled back in a clean bun and with a thick tortoise headband. She rarely wore any jewelry, except for her wedding band and a pair of simple pearl earrings. She didn't need any. Her best accessory was her husband, JFK, Jr.
Her style is one of the easiest to copy and one of the best! Her staples are: flare jeans, khakis, black pants, white long sleeve shirt, trench coat, loafers, and black sunnies. Not only did she have an impeccable taste in everything, she was also reported to be intelligent, and possessed a really good heart. Paying homage to the other queen of Camelot.
