While browsing through my Twitter feed this morning, a sad tweet from TMZ caught my attention: James Gandolfini Dead. He was best known for his portrayal of the mob boss {Tony Soprano} who's prone to panic attack in the HBO hit series The Sopranos.
The Sopranos was one of the few television series that I got obsessed with. Seriously. I watched every episode over and over again. I fell in love with James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano. He was an exemplary actor. I also liked him in the movie The Last Castle, where he played the role of Col. Winter opposite Robert Redford.
Gandolfini was a great guy based on his co-actors' tweets. "A gentle giant" according to Rose McGowan. Young, brilliant and gone. Such a terrible waste. He's survived by his wife, Deborah Lin, and two kids.
RIP, Tony Soprano. Salute!
