My previous post or better yet, a person mentioned from my previous post is related to this one...literally. Charlotte Gainsbourg, for those unaware, is the daughter of another style icon, Jane Birkin. Ah, French women and their styles!
With or without help from her mère, Charlotte Gainsbourg pretty much nails the gamine style. Actually, her look is half that and half le bobo {bourgeois-bohemian}. I like that she doesn't look so put together; like she's been dressed by a stylist. It's relaxed, rugged and undeniably cool. She knows how to create a killer outfit with minimal effort or probably with zero effort.
She doesn't consider herself a style icon and most of the time, she self-deprecates. Well, I don't know about her self-esteem issues; all I know is that her style is enviable and I.Love.It!
