Michael Jackson and Balmain

Much can be said about the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, but there's one more thing that defined his personality that a lot of people saw as weird: his fashion style.

Sure, he wore unique {read: bizarre} pieces of clothing and accessories, but he did put a new twist to "distinct style". It was very highly identifiable. Every time I'd see a red leather jacket, the first thing that pops into my brain is MJ in 'Thriller'; a pair of cropped black pants paired with white socks and black loafers style is unmistakably his. He even redefined the use of surgical mask by making it an actual everyday accessory!

One of his best looks that I truly adore are the edgy military x drummer boy style blazers! Far better than her sequined coat era. Balmain created a whole line with MJ as the fashion house's inspiration. Here are a couple of his Balmain looks that I heart!
