Burger Bar's brother from the same mother has landed in the QC area: 8Cuts Burger Blends. What's in the name? The '8 cuts' being referred to are the various parts of 100% pure U.S. beef {chuck, rib eye, short rib, sirloin, brisket, hanger,
flank and ox tail} that they use to create the patties.
The interior, according to the management, is a mixture of the industrial designed buildings that dominated Williamsburg, Brooklyn and the vibrant hues and neon lights of Santa Monica, California. It's similar to the interiors of Burger Bar. I didn't see my favorite furniture in the aforementioned resto though: Thonet chairs. Heavily crushing on those! I have a thing for chairs.

The main highlight of 8Cuts Burger Blends is their open kitchen. They properly refer to it as the "Blend Kitchen." This is both for entertainment purpose and transparency. You'll be able to view how your burgers are being prepared, sanitation-wise and all.
You know the farm-to-table concept that has been emerging like wild fire as of late? This is sort of like that. Let's just call this one grind-to-table.
Their menu is a tweaked version of Burger Bar's. They still have the BB cult classics and a few new one's such as the Q-Daddy Umami Burger and Franch Burger.

Loaded Tex-Mex Ground Beef Nachos PhP 295 |
This is the first time we've tried this side dish - Loaded Tex-Mex Ground Beef Nachos. It's good, but nothing out of the ordinary. It would be great if they can make the fries a little bit thicker and add some jalapeno to the mix.
Onion Rings PhP 65 |
Two things I like about 8Cuts' Onion Rings: the batter's not too thick and it's not greasy. You don't have to play the where's-the-onion game as you chomp your way through each ring. Also, it's perfectly seasoned. Okay, that's three things already. Just scratch the two.
Four Cheese {Single Patty} PhP 245 |
The Four Cheese {a.k.a 4Cheese Chuck} is the burger that turned me into a Burger Bar fan. I adore thee in all it's simplicity. It's a magnificent blend of..........hold on, I already described how good this is. It's all here! Next.
Franch Burger {Single Patty} PhP 295 |
The Franch Burger is one of the two new burgers on the menu. It features a grilled quarter-pound of ox blend patty topped with gruyere, caramelized onions, ranch dressing, sweet pickles, tomatoes, and potato chips. The whole thing is squeezed inside halved Brioche bun. The marriage of flavor is overwhelmingly good!

This one, I like a lot as well! Actually, I switch between this and the Four Cheese every time we visit Burger Bar. Fried oyster mushroom tempura, white
truffle creamed cheese and sautéed mushrooms over a mustard-fried quarter pounder constitutes this amazing burjah creation.

Our youngest is molding into a true bacon fiend. The Piggy never fails to make him truly happy! The thing that ups the awesomeness of this burger is the home-made bacon jam. Always ask for more. Always. It is so delicious!
Red Velvet Caked Shake {12 oz} PhP 220 |
We tried one of the two new Caked Shakes of 8 Cuts Burger Blends - Red Velvet. It is as good as it looks. Intense! It's very rich and smooth but overly sweet. You always have the option of asking them to tone down the sweetness level. I forgot to do that. Next time.
One more thing I like about 8 Cuts is the fact that it's a Playmysong capable establishment! You can listen to your own playlist while eating your favorite burger blends! ayntitsumtin?
I'm not surprised at how good everything was at 8 Cuts Burger Blends given our always pleasant experience at Burger Bar. This is definitely another hard habit to break! *sigh*
