Victoria and David Beckham Help the Victims of Typhoon Haiyan

Gawd, I love this couple! I love them more now than I did a day ago, before Victoria Beckham posted photos of boxes and a mountain {literally} of shoes that she'll be donating to the British Red Cross' Shop Drop on Twitter yesterday. The proceeds will go to the victims of typhoon Haiyan.

If you feel like sharing some of your blessings to them, you can check out a couple of the {legitimate} ways here.

Her equally hot husband will be donating some of his clothes from top fashion brands to Shop Drop as well. David Beckham {the epitome of suave} shared UNICEF's call in helping the survivors of this magnanimous tragedy.

I tip my hat to powerful people who have a high degree of social responsibility. It's a dignified gesture worthy of a shout-out. After all, not all of them have a sense of philanthrophic moral obligation.

Using their status for the common good is something to be in awe about. They have a bigger impact in terms of influence and reach. They can create sort of a viral change better than you and I. A lot of people look up to them for inspiration, so it's good that they're setting an incredible one.

In similar news, Kim Kardashian is selling her clothes on eBay to help the victims of typhoon Haiyan as well. Unlike the bloody haute couple, Kim will be donating 10% of the sales.

She's been getting a lot of flak about that. Whether you're donating 100% or 1%, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you are doing your part.

You know what? Let's not worry about the numbers. Let's focus on this instead because it's far more important: Who will buy her clothes?

Just saying.
