It's that time of the year again wherein some of us heavily swoon over Hollywood celebrities as they sashay along the Oscars red carpet. Many definitely commanded attention with their ensemble, but I will trim down my list to the six best according to me and only me. Here's my 2014 Oscars best dressed list:

Oscars 2014 Best Supporting Actress, Lupita Nyong'o, is rising up to be a real fashion icon! She's the best dressed woman for me at the 2014 Oscars. I love her in this ice blue custom Prada gown, accessorized with a thin diamond-encrusted Fred Leighton headband, earrings, and bangle. Unbelievably beautiful!
Angelina Jolie has always been on a league of her own. Stunning is too meek a word to describe her in this gorgeous embellished Elie Saab gown. What I love about this woman {aside from her face, her strong sense of social responsibility, her nurturing prowess, her stare, her courage, etc.} is being an amazing heteromorph. Underneath all that elegant facade is an inked rock star. Many have tried, but this woman cannot be bettered......yet.
Quick q: Did you die a bit when Brad Pitt gave her that loving kiss? I felt the love.

Kate Hudson was an epitome of all things glam in this Atelier Versace gown! The cape that extends into a grand drape just above her derriere elevated the gorgeousness of this ensemble.

A simple, classy, and age-appropriate attire for the actress extraordinaire that is Meryl Streep. The barely-there maquillage complemented her uncomplicated style perfectly.
Not the fairest of them all, but she's close. So close. Charlize Theron was definitely a sight to behold in a Dior Haute Couture gown. To be honest, the gown and the Harry Winston diamond necklace barely created an impact because I immediately zeroed in on her lovely face.

A beautiful gown is good, but a beautiful gown with an amazing fit is what makes a red carpet entrance awesome. Sandra Bullock's navy blue Alexander McQueen gown hugged her gravity-defying curves perfectly. She definitely made a classic design extraordinary.
Oh, hi there, Bradley! Yeah, I know. He's a he, but he's hot, ergo, he will always be part of my 'best list'. Too bad he brought a fetus to the Oscars. I'm just bitter.
P.S. A classic tux is still the best, Pharell Williams.
