Here's another photog I admire: Giuseppi Cavalli. The key aspect in his photos is the light. That was his subject. He cared little about the person in the photo or whatever the subject is for a still life. His main obsession was the light, and he played and captured its raw essence using a pre-owned Leica camera. The result is magnificent. Simple, majestic, and very artistic.
