Met Gala ~ the strictly-by-invitation-only annual fundraiser's 2014 feature designer is
Charles James and the theme is
"Beyond Fashion". The cost of the much-coveted ticket was reportedly
raised from $15,000 last year to $25,000! The purpose of the event is not to showcase who the most fashionable celeb attendee is but to raise funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute ~ recently renamed Anna Wintour Costume Center.
