A warm and inviting home is a given goal
by all. To hear your guest say, "I really want to stay here forever! Your
home is so beautiful and relaxing!" is a great compliment. I believe
another goal by many homemakers is to make one's abode look upscale without
busting the wallet.
A complete makeover is actually not
necessary to achieve this. A little tweak here and there is enough to make a
home look glamorous.
Interior designer, Libby Langdon, has recently released her home decor
collection for Walmart, and they are affordably gorgeous! I love the patterns
and colors, especially the grey and pale aqua tones. Her collection, named Warm
and Inviting, consists of decorative pillows, pouf, rugs, and throw blankets.
According to Libby Langdon, it is "important
for me to take some of the guesswork out of the design process for shoppers and
show how to use the various accessories together to get a designer look in
their own homes... for a lot less! We all want super values for our homes
and to live in rooms that make us feel happy."
She has six pre-made design inspirations ~ Beach House, Color Pop, Soft and
Serene, Cool and Current, Sophisticated Style, and Chic and Cheerful. I've
created my own mix from her collection below along with some more chic finds
from Walmart.

I prefer hues that are cool and pleasing,
but always with a touch of noir. Identical patterns and textures are too
boring! Same goes for identical furniture. Nope. Just no. I prefer mixing and
matching various prints with some solids while still sticking to a certain
color palette.
The easiest way to update a room and add
dimension is by carefully peppering an area with decorative pillows and area
rugs. Below are some of the prints that I adore from Libby Langdon's Warm and Inviting Home Decor Collection. Each print comes in various colors. The
ones I picked below are in subdued tones. It comes in vibrant hues as well such
as this; very 60s mod.
