SoHo gives me a great bygone high. The cast-iron buildings there are very impressive! I get a pang of jealousy from their quest to preserve heritage sites when we're so good at killing ours. It's a tragedy of sorts, really. Out with it! Fine, I also love the row of shops.
The apartment below in one of the cast-iron buildings SoHo's Greene Street is actually a shop. It's designed by Isaac F. Duckworth in 1872. In lieu of a usual store, this one is orchestrated as a residential unit by the online shop The Line. It is home to their exquisite merchandise.
The magnificent building alone is something to rave about. The fusion of contemporary and aged in this place, however, makes the area breathtaking.
