Amaaaaziiiing! The colors, the details, the style, and the craftsmanship - exemplary! This remarkable Kikko Warrior vest is by Filipino designer extraordinaire, Bea Valdes. The vest is said to have been inspired by Sun Tzu's The Art of War. In fact, one of my favorite quotes from the book is stated on her website: Swift as the wind. Quiet as the forest. Conquer like the
fire. Steady as the mountain.
Like all her other creations, this vest is unquestionably an art piece. It's deserving of a special spot in a museum. I love that her pieces are one-offs; meaning, you are guaranteed topmost singularity. According to her site, "there are occasional twins, sharing hybrid stories. But they are never identical, always fraternal."
I also love Bea Valdes' Minotaur clutch, Metropolis clutch, Dune clutch, and the Skull clutch!
