Anselm Kiefer's Interior {1981} is a limned scene of Albert Speer's {Adolf Hitler's chief architect} New Reich Chancellery in its ravaged state. The building, which served as Hitler's official residence, was damaged during the Battle of Berlin in April of 1945. I like it because it eerie. I feel like if you stare long enough, you'll see a ghostly image somewhere.
