Do you remember your first pair of Levi's 501 jeans? I got my first pair back in high school. I was rummaging through my closet {in my old bedroom} for it, but no such luck. I probably gave them away. Come to think of it, even if I did find my old pair of 501s, it wouldn't fit me. That's a definite.
Levi's 501 jeans has been in existence for 140 years! They now have a modern version called Levi's 501 CT or custom tapered. It still has that wiggle room at the waist - which I appreciate now more than ever due to the wee bit of belly pooch - and of course, the button fly. The leg is slightly tapered as opposed to the original straight cut. Better with heels!
Vogue's Denim Editor, Kelly Connor, and Associate Market Editor, Emma Morrison, customized a few pairs of Levi's 501 recently. The jeans were given to the guests of the Levi's 501 x Vogue event that you and I were not invited to. Boo! Anyway, we can always get a pair here!
Onward and Upward!
