The Katsu Curry Don comes with Yabu's treasured accompaniments: rice, miso soup, Japanese pickles, cabbage, and slices of fresh fruits. Both are served in hot donburi.

Yabu's popular katsu is perched on top of a hefty serving of Japanese rice, bathed with Japanese curry and gooey cheese! Here's what made it extra good for me - the curry sauce is imbued with morsels of beef!

I don't know how many times I've professed my adoration for salmon here, but in case you've missed it, I'm gonna say it again, I love salmon! In a restaurant that's katsu-focused, Salmon Don could very well be another status. The salmon steak is 1 1/2 inch thick, tender, and intensely flavored. It comes with teriyaki rice, salmon roe, and crispy salmon skin bites! That last one made a lot of difference, I tell you!
