With its new Executive Chef, Eugene San Juan, F1 Hotel's F All-Day Dining has been transformed into something more than just a place to dine, and it is fun!
These are just a few of my favorites at F1 Hotel's F All-Day Dining Buffet. The Bagnet {crispy pork belly} had a seriously good flavor and bite as well as the tuna and salmon sashimi.
The Binagoongan and Kare-Kare were both notable. I was forced to eat a lot of steamed white rice because of those two! F1 Hotel's Teppanyaki Station is something I abuse. I also love their Noodle Soup Station during breakfast!
Apart from F All-Day Dining Restaurant's new dishes courtesy of Chef Eugene, it now has live cooking stations for willing guests! According to the Chef Eugene, he wants the diners to get a feel of how things are done in the kitchen and to teach them simple but healthy dishes that they can do at home. So to sum it all up, you get to eat and learn! Not bad.
Silken tofu with a slice of century egg, pickled radish, a petal of sweet violet, pork floss, sesame seeds, chopped scallion, and as a finishing touche, it is drizzled with soy sauce concoction and sesame oil. Yum!
I had my doubts at the start of the session. Naturally, anyone who visits F1 Hotel's F Restaurant has only one goal in mind: to eat...a lot. That's it. But when the session started, all those doubts were deleted. I was having a lot of fun! It only took us around 15 minutes to finish the whole thing, and that includes Q & A portions.

My own creation
Chef Eugene showing us how to prepare a Lo Hei
Lo Hei {means "toss the fish} or Yusheng is a salad made of julienned vegetables, pok chui crackers, pomelo, ground cinnamon, sesame seeds, pomelo, crushed peanuts, and salmon sashimi. The whole thing is bathed with plum sauce before it is tossed. The higher the toss, the more luck you will have in life! This dish is believed to bring good fortune and is most commonly served during Chinese New Year.
The flat noodles were the last one we did for the day. The kids will have the most fun with this one! While the adults attack the buffet, they can keep their little ones preoccupied with this activity.
Ball of love
I haven't done this in a while! The last fresh batch I did was fettuccine. Don't be overwhelmed by the activity. The F1 Hotel chefs will be by your side to guide you through the entire activity. Just relax and have fun! This is neither a contest nor a graded exam. You won't get a medal for having the best noodles. That would have been cool though. Just saying.
Ta-da!! My noodles are done!
I'm never much into tooting my own horn, but I just wanna point out that I did finish first! I was so ready to trash talk my fellow competitors - you know, just to show them who's boss - but then I realized that they're a bunch of little munchkins!
Opponent 1: A messy little munchkin! How can you not love that face? That pretty girl above is Rain - Richie and Rina's happiness.
Bowls of beef noodle soup with fried wonton ready for the taking!
