I wish I was given this privilege! French portraitist, Gisèle Freund, spent two weeks with Frida Kahlo in the latter's home in Mexico in 1950. These rare shots of the unibrowed beauty's authentic self at home as well as the interior of La Casa Azul can be found in the book authored by Gérardde Cortanze. Must. Have. It! My dream is to visit the Museo Frida Kahlo in Mexico. Soon, I hope. This book will have to do for now.
