If you ask me to choose between a newly built house and a renovated space with a historical past, I'd choose the latter in a heartbeat. Water seepage, cracks, and all those hiccups that old houses have can be real tough {not to mention costly}, but I'm nostalgic. I can't help it. I like buildings with a lot of history. It's kind of creepy to live in one though, it being riddled with ghosts and everything. Well, we all need a little excitement in our lives, yeah?

The New York home above is one of the seven buildings in the area that were once a schoolhouse, a post office, a store, and a hotel according to Design Sponge. It's minimally designed, and is floor-to-ceiling white! It's a huge canvas for unlimited interior design ideas! It can be tough to keep immaculately clean, though. Who cares? It's pretty!
