Under a new management, Racks is given a much needed face lift, a new addition to the menu, and better classics! I'm referring to the new Megamall branch {right beside Tenya} regarding the renovated part. I don't know about the other branches yet such as El Pueblo.
Speaking of which, I just remembered that I had my 16th birthday party at the second floor of Racks El Pueblo. The place had that barn-like interior that was stark white! I haven't been there in a loooong time, so I have no clue if they've renovated the place or not.
Anyway, I barely ate the famous baby back ribs that night because I was too anxious and happy that my crush was there. I was pretending to eat like a bird so as not to turn him off. You know how it is. When you're young, you're stupid. Maybe it's just me. It was fun though.
He likes all my Instagram {personal account} posts, by the way. Tsk! After all these years. Move on already, man! Nah, I'm kidding. We're cool.

We'll start with this huge pile of lightly breaded onion rings first. It's my favorite Racks appetizer! I'm not alone on this one. My boys love it, too! It comes with two sauces: spicy remoulade and the the barbecue sauce. I fancy the first one more.

The chicken strips that top the mount of greens are flavored with Cajun seasoning. It makes the classic Caesar Salad tastier and more interesting.

What you need to know: the batter is grease-free and the meat is super fresh, soft, and flaky! It's also lightly seasoned, so giving it a smear of the tartare will make it extra splendous!

Okay, this one is the latest from Racks. My youngest son said that the smell makes him very hungry, and that he can eat a cup of rice just by getting a good whiff of the aroma. I'm not surprised. After all, he is his mother's son.
It's smoked in hickory wood and had the right kind of additives. The chicken's juice gave the meat an extra tasty upping! It comes with mayo-based Alabama white sauce. It works well with Racks original sauce with a few drops of the extra hot, too!

Although Racks extend beyond what they are known for, the staples cannot certainly be ignored! It's tender, succulent, thoroughly cooked, and has that delicious stickiness that you'd be happy to lick off your plate and fingers. And, and, it's boneless!

Oozing out of the moist chocolate fudge brownie is a rich chocolate lava. Perched on top is a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. This is really good, and is considered as Racks' best dessert. I prefer it to be a little less sweet, though.
