Interior Snoop: Mid-Century Modern Apartment in São Tomás

Love me some Papa Bear and Flagline chairs!

I've been posting quite a lot about Scandinavian design, even industrial themes, but actually, mid-century modern is really my favorite amongst all the architecture and interior designs. It's sophisticated and laid-back at the same time. It's subtly luxurious, but not snobbish; and most of all, it's simple! A Felipe Hess-designed São Tomás apartment is a real interior lust for me. The renovated space is inside an antiquated building by Bauhaus architect, Franz Heep. I love the subtle grays, the raw concrete kitchen island, steel factory-style accordion doors, the furniture, and that patch of quashed brick wall! I'd probably change the parquet into a herringbone, though.
