Symphony of Flavors' Baked Holiday Stunners

The packaging is simple, and the visual aesthetic is not out of the ordinary. And then you try one. In my case, that would be the banana bread. A WTF {What the Food! What did you think it was?} sign lit up inside my brain thrice. Symphony of Flavors' prods conveys a good kind of deception. I'd rather have that type than the opposite: packaging good because product sucks.

Now bear in mind that I don't speak in absolutes. This is just my opinion about the ones that I've tried, and my opinion of reviewing food is based on two claims: I eat, and I eat a lot. I cook, too. I don't bake, though.

Cookie Sandwich  PhP 120 (Box of 4)  /  PhP 280 (Box of 10)

My boys like the Cookie Sandwiches the most! I like the Chocolate Chip and the Red Velvet. The Chocolate Chip has a rich paste of cookie dough in between while the Red Velvet has cream cheese frosting. They're really good! I'd skip the Oreo Cheesecake.

Banana Bread  PhP 300

Even after sitting in the fridge for five days, Symphony of Flavors Bakeshop's Banana Bread is still as moist, delicious, and dense since the first day I got them! Add some caramelized banana strips on top and you have one addicting block! That block not drying out was not the amazing part. I was more amazed that it lasted five days with us.

Empanada PhP 800 (Box of 8)

Each empanada that I tried outdid the last. I don't know how I was able to come to that succession. I had the Classic Chicken first, and thought "this is good!"; then I stuffed myself with the Creamy Caldereta next. I found out that the latter was a tad bit better. In comes the Chorizo, Ham and Cheese.  Much! I was hooked.

Bars  PhP 75 (4)  /  PhP 200 (12)  /  PhP 280 (18)  /  PhP 30 (460)

I haven't tried all the bars' {they're actually called bits and pieces} flavors yet, but I will try them all soon. They have quite a few!

  • Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting
  • Choco Walnut with oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips
  • Red Velvet Brownies with cheesecake swirls - This one is delicious!
  • Double Chocolate - another winner!
  • Brookies - choco chip dough on fudgy brownie
  • Mango Butterscotch - sounds good. Will order this next time.
  • White Chocolate Walnut Bar
  • Black Forest
  • Mocha Brownie

I've ordered a couple more products for Christmas Eve! The Caramel Bread Pudding will hopefully be a table favorite as well as the Leche Flan Cheesecake! Those two sounds really gooood!
