The if-you-haven't-worn-something-in-five-years-get-rid-of-it doesn't apply to all things. There are some things that I hold on to not out of sentiment, but because their style power is definitive! Loafers are one of those. I still have my Weejuns from back in high school as well as my very first Horsebit; and I still wear them!
I'm ooohing on the modern twist of the originals like this one, this one, and this one. The classic design {below}, however, appeals to me the most still.
