I constantly seek inspiration from photographers whom I admire. One of them is Janet Delaney. Her photos are not entirely about perfection. They are slices of the unfiltered everyday lives of people. They tell stories; the structural scope of which depends on how broad one's imagination is. I don't know, I just find them really, really, really beautiful.
Armed with a Rolleiflex, she toured New York City from 1984-1987, and the result are the scenes above.
