Xing Fu Tang Greenhills: Goes Beyond the Much-Loved Brown Sugar Milk Tea

Do you know how many milk tea shops there are in Greenhills right now?

I'm seriously asking because I lost count. Despite the stiff competition, they're all magically thriving. I think because unlike salted-egg anything, milk tea is not a trend. It has become a lifestyle.

I have my go-to's, of course, and one of those is Xing Fu Tang.

Xing Fu Tang Greenhills Mango Smoothie and Rabbit Panna Cotta

Xing Fu Tang's non-milk tea offerings are just as addicting. The Mango Smoothie and Rabbit Panna Cotta (PhP 140) is not just instagrammable, it's delicious, too. First, you have to poke the plastic cover where the jiggly rabbit is resting on. Allow the wabbit to slide through, then enjoy! If summer has a unique taste, this is it.

Another pretty/yummy drink that you should try is this shiny, shimmering, splendid Soda with Handmade Jelly (PhP 130).

Xing Fu Tang Greenhills Brown Sugar Milk Tea

Okay, I know that Xing Fu Tang's Brown Sugar Milk Tea (PhP120) looks like diabetes-in-a-cup, but I guarantee you, it's not. The sweetness level is just right for me. I like that the flavor of the tea is not masked by sugar or milk. I also like that the pearls have the right bite every time.

And since the cups are small, the ratio of pearls to milk tea is perfect. I can finish my pearls and milk tea at the same time without moving the straw up and down.  That's one less stress in this world, don't you think?

Xing Fu Tang Lemon Black Tea and Lemon Green Te

My mother (God bless her soul) once told me that 3/4 of my blood is iced tea. I love it! If iced tea makes you giddy like a school girl seeing her crush for the first time, try Xing Fu Tang's Lemon Black Tea (PhP 100) and Lemon Green Tea (PhP100). It tastes like a well-prepared cold brew tea—clean taste, lightly sweetened, no bitter aftertaste.

I don't have any qualms about the milk tea's cup being that small; however, I'm humbly requesting Xing Fu Tang to have XL versions of Lemon Black Tea and Lemon Green Tea.
